The DPM-3 WiFi, USB and RS485 communication board allows a DPM-3 1/8 DIN digital panel meter, counter or timer to be interfaced to an external PC or HMI via WiFi, USB or RS485. The use of WiFi, which is standard with most computers, avoids the need for communication cables. They empower DPM-3 instruments with the capability to be polled using Modbus commands, ensuring efficient data retrieval. These boards offer remarkable speed, enabling polling every 10 milliseconds via WiFi, and providing updated analog readings at an impressive rate of up to 60 times per second. Equipped with a built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi antenna, they adhere to the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless standard, delivering data rates of up to 72.2 Mbits per second. Additionally, they feature a Mini-USB port for programming or operation as a Modbus slave at up to 38400 baud and an RJ11 RS485 port for operation as a Modbus slave at up to 115200 baud or as a Modbus master at 19200 baud, extending compatibility for various configurations of up to 31 meters or transmitters on an RS485 bus.
