The RS485 Option Board is a valuable addition to your setup, offering Plug & Play field installation convenience. With two RJ11 connectors, it enables easy daisy-chaining of meters without the need for a hub. It provides the flexibility to address up to 247 meters using the Modbus RTU protocol or up to 31 meters using a Custom ASCII protocol. Additionally, it supports continuous data streaming with the Custom ASCII protocol. You can choose between full-duplex or half-duplex operation, as well as baud rates up to 9600, ensuring it adapts to your specific requirements. Isolated from meter and power grounds, it enhances safety. This board is ideal for use with our Ethernet-to-RS485 converter and USB-to-RS485 converter boards, making it a versatile and user-friendly choice for your data communication needs.
